Welcome to the website of Good News In Action! 2008 marks the 38th year (founded in 1970) that Good News In Action has been sharing the Gospel with people in the marketplaces of the world and starting churches in an effort to glorify God through the expansion of His kingdom. Since 1985, Good News In Action has seen over 220,000 people make professions of faith in its evangelistic outreaches and helped start over 45 churches. It is currently helping support 14 missionaries in El Salvador and Central America.

Although it's exciting to see what God has done through Good News In Action in the past, it's even more exciting to see what the future holds. The major focus of the ministry during the next 15 years will be to evangelize the MetroAmerica 020 area (from Ecuador to Mexico, including Central America and the Caribbean) and start 30 church planting churches in the metropolitan areas of more than 1 million people. Over 260 million people live in this area and, according to the statistics; over 220 million of them don't have a personal relationship with Christ. And most of them are receptive to the gospel! The idea is to continue to start churches like New Life Baptist Church that will have a vision to not only evangelize their world but also to influence it to glorify God.

To accomplish this, we will continue to need help from the many partners of Good News In Action. One of our most important values is teamwork and we believe that God may want you to be a part of the team. You can be a part of the team by:

•  Praying for Good News In Action. Without prayer, we can accomplish nothing that will glorify God. Please pray for MetroAmerica 020 and for the missionaries that Good News In Action supports.

•  Giving to Good News In Action. Not only do we want to be used by God to evangelize the MetroAmerica 020 are but also to fortify New Life Baptist Church. So that New Life will continue to be used by God to produce new missionaries and workers to start the new works in MetroAmerica 020, it will be necessary to move the church to its new location and build a 2,500 seat auditorium and a seminary that will give degrees. Good News In Action wants to be used not only to help finance the new building and seminary but to build the bridge necessary to access the property and help build the new orphanage and bilingual Christian school.

•  Going on a short-term mission trip. Most of the people who have made mission trips with Good News have told us that their lives were changed. They were changed by the receptivity of the lost in this part of the world and by seeing God do amazing things through them. You don't need any special talents to make a short-term mission trip, just a willingness to be used by God.

Many of you who are reading this are already part of the Good News In Action team.
