Pastor Omar Claros Martinez, after being a pastor for 12 years in the Chaparrastique Baptist Church and having taught men such as: Rafael Antonio Bonilla, who later was sent to pastor a church now known as Abundant Life Baptist Church, founded by Brother Omar, as well as Jorge Ignacio Prado, who was ordained pastor of the Chaparrastique Baptist Church when Omar left from San Miguel, also Bartolo Trinidad Berrios, a general physician who learned to use his profession to win souls for Christ and who also founded the church Canton el Niño in one of the Chaparrastique volcano communities, also Francisco Flores, an orthopedist who has been Jorge Prado's right hand man all these years and many others, left that church to start a new work.
In 1992 Omar left San Miguel and was sent out by the Chaparrastique Baptist Church to San Francisco Gotera, in the Morazán department of El Salvador . Omar was sent out with a vision to establish a local church with a strong leadership and from that church establish a strong School for Missions Training.
Fifteen years has passed. God has used Omar to establish Good News Baptist Church which has about 200 members. God has also used Omar to send Rene Antonio Claros (Omar's nephew raised up under his ministry) who is now the pastor of a Mission , which by the end of 2007 will be constituted as the Cacaotera Baptist Church . Omar's church has also ordained Josue Ramiro Claros Araujo (Omar's son also trained under Omar's leadership) as a pastor and sent him as a missionary to the city of Corinto in the mountains of Morazán.
Additionally Omar has also been instrumental in preparing
Alvin Padilla, Rigoberto Fuentes, Francisco Medrano, Natan Rivera, Luis Carcamo, Jose Diaz, Fabricio Benavides, Ruben Gonzalez and Israel Luna (sent out with Ramiro as part of his support team). All of these leaders have been tried and proven by the church. Three more pastors will be ordained at the end of 2007.
Having established the church in San Francisco Gotera Omar new it was time to proceed with his vision that God had placed in his heart back in 1990, the missionary training school. He wanted it to be a center for leader, pastor and missionary training on a Central American level.
