Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
What an enormous privilege it is for us to continue representing our Lord in His ministry in this area of El Salvador, specifically, Lourdes. We are convinced that this year, 2010, will be a very exciting year because of all the projects we have planned. The direction we will take this year is related to further developing and keeping our mission fresh, this way we will more effectively promote our church’s vision.
We are very aware of the enormous responsibility that has been entrusted to us and all the people the Lord has given us to minister to. We totally depend upon the guidance, authority and power of God and the infinite grace of Our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We believe that He wants us to dream big, for this reason, “OUR DREAMS WILL KEEP US AWAKE” for all 2010. This is our theme for 2010.
God has a dream, His dream is to reach the lost world, His dream is our dream. We must not sleep, but rather be vigilant and stay awake so that God’s dream can become a reality.
Thank you for helping us to make God’s dream possible.
“May the LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times more numerous than you are, and bless you as He has promised you!” Deuteronomy 1:11.
Vida Nueva Lourdes
5th Anniversary
We celebrated our church’s 5th anniversary from Friday February 22nd to Sunday February 24th; it was a very special time. Please view the video we have posted at www.vidanuevalourdes.com Brother Steve Kern challenged us through the preaching of God’s Word. In one of his messages he asked us a very interesting question: “What dream do you live for?” He emphasized the importance of the call of God upon our lives and how each one of us can be a part of God’s dream of salvation coming true. It was a wonderful time, many of our people made life changing decisions; others confirmed God’s call upon their lives to be His witnesses. The anniversary wrapped up Sunday evening with our classic anniversary dinner. We are so appreciative of everyone that served to make our 5th anniversary an incredible success.
Thank you Lord for one more year!

Es para nosotros un privilegio enorme de parte del Señor comenzar una vez más su obra en este sector de El Salvador, específicamente Lourdes, estamos convencidos que este año será emocionante por todos los proyectos que echaremos a andar. El rumbo que tomaremos este año tiene que ver con desarrollar y mantener fresca nuestra misión, así como impulsar de manera más efectiva nuestra visión como iglesia.
Conscientes de la enorme responsabilidad que tenemos para con todas aquellas personas a las cuales Dios nos ha permitido ministrar, y contando con la guía, la autoridad, el poder y con la infinita gracia del Rey de reyes y Señor de señores creemos que podemos soñar en grande; Es por eso, que nuestros sueños nos mantendrán despiertos el resto del año.
Dios tiene un sueño, alcanzar el mundo perdido y Su sueño es ahora nuestro sueño; por eso no podemos dormirnos, sino velad y mantenernos despiertos para que el sueño de Dios se haga realidad.
Gracias a todos los que hacen posible el sueño de Dios.

5º Aniversario de
Vida Nueva Lourdes
Del viernes 22 al domingo 24 de enero celebramos en nuestra iglesia nuestro 5º aniversario, fue un tiempo muy especial.
(www.vidanuevalourdes.com pueden ver el video) El hermano Steve Kern estuvo desafiándonos con la predicación de la palabra de Dios. En una de sus predicaciones el hizo una pregunta muy interesante, al decir: y tú ¿para cual sueño vives? E hizo énfasis en la importancia del llamado que todos tenemos en los diferentes lugares donde Dios nos tiene para cumplir su sueño. Fue un excelente tiempo, varios hermanos tomaron decisiones trascendentales para sus vidas, otros confirmaron su llamado. La fiesta termino el domingo en la noche con nuestra ya clásica cena de aniversario. ¡Gracias a todos los que hicieron posible esta increíble fiesta!

Valentine’s Day Celebration
This year Valentine’s Day fell on a Sunday, that gave our couples ministry, “Three Fold Cords,” the perfect opportunity to celebrate this special day with their loved ones. It was a spectacular night; the couples watched the perfect movie for the occasion, “Fireproof.” After the movie we had a wonderful romantic dinner and at the end of the evening we toasted giving all our gratitude to God for allowing us to celebrate together and for being able to love our spouses through Him.
We raffled a few gifts, among them, 10 “Love Dare” books. What a blessing it was to be able to celebrate this special day in a way so different than the way the world celebrates it.
Celebración del día del amor y de la amistad
Aprovechando que el 14 de febrero cayó domingo, el ministerio de parejas de la iglesia “Cordón de tres dobleces” celebró este día tan especial con su ser amado. Fue una noche espectacular, vimos las parejas una película perfecta para esta ocasión: “A prueba de fuego”, luego cenamos en medio de un ambiente romántico, y al final todas las parejas brindamos agradeciéndole a Dios por poder estar juntos y poder amar a nuestra pareja a través de él.
Finalmente se rifaron varios regalos entre los cuales había 10 libros que contenían los 40 pasos del “Reto del amor”. Que bendición fue poder celebrar un día tan especial de manera tan diferente a como lo celebra el mundo.

Please pray for several church building projects:
A roof over the central part of the building.
A false ceiling for all roofed areas.
Extension of the building when the present size is no longer enough.
Closed classrooms for both children and youth.
A tree house for the children in our Sunday school.
Please pray for our March evangelistic campaign.
Please pray for safety in our area of Lourdes, it is a high risk
zone.
Please pray that the Lord will provide work for all those in our congregation who are currently out of work.
Please pray for the health of those of our congregation who are sick.
Please pray for the new Life Circle we will be starting in April.

Techo para la parte central del templo.
Cielo falso para todo el techo.
Extensión del templo para cuando el actual ya no sea suficiente.

Proyecto de la casita del árbol para los niños de escuela dominical.
