Estimados Hermanos,

El mes de Enero 2010 fue muy significante para VIDA NUEVA MANAGUA, ya que celebramos con mucha alegría el Cuarto Aniversario de haber iniciado la Misión en este país, damos gracias a Dios por la oportunidad que nos da de poder servirle para expandir Su reino y transformar vidas.

Durante enero un grupo de señoritas de la congregación recibieron la segunda parte del estudio “COMO ESTA TU CORAZON”, impartido por nuestra hermana Eyrela de Martínez, al final de la enseñanza realizaron varias dinámicas, elaboración de manualidades, compartieron refrigerio, tuvieron un buen tiempo de compañerismo, oramos y manifestaron algunas de ellas que Dios les había hablado y desafiado para que sus vidas fueran transformadas y agradarán a Dios.

También en el mes de enero tuvimos la gran alegría de realizar la primera graduación de nuestra Escuela Dominical, se les entregó su Diploma donde hace constar que han pasado a otro nivel, se graduaron 8 niños, 3 de cuna, 3 de pre-escolares y 2 de escolares. Damos gracias a Dios, a sus padres y al grupo de maestros que son parte muy importante para el desarrollo de esta labor tan grandiosa para el reino de Dios.

Celebramos nuestro cuarto aniversario desde el domingo 24 de enero al miércoles 27 de enero, recibiendo la Palabra por nuestro invitado Pastor Julio Contreras de Vida Nueva San Salvador, quién nos compartió la Conferencia: “UN DESAFIO PARA QUIENES QUIEREN MADURAR”. Realmente fue de mucha bendición ver a la congregación llegar día a día a escuchar la Palabra de Dios y el último día algunos de nuestros niños pasaron al frente y cantamos todos juntos como Iglesia FELIZ FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS, luego compartimos el pastel, soda y tuvimos un tiempo de compañerismo y alegría.”GRACIAS DIOS”.

El mes de febrero ha sido de muchas pruebas para la congregación de VIDA NUEVA MANAGUA, ya que a inicios de mes hicieron una evaluación técnica de la estructura del edificio en donde nos estábamos congregando, al tener el informe del Ingeniero la recomendación que dio fue que deberíamos desocupar el local, ya que tiene riesgos de gran peligro para las personas que nos reunimos en ese lugar. Por ese motivo se suspendieron algunas actividades ya programadas.

A partir del domingo 14 de febrero nos estamos reuniendo a las 10:00 AM en el Hotel Campestre Plaza Azul, para realizar los Cultos de Adoración e impartir las clases de Escuela Dominical.

Para recaudar fondos y pagar recibos de agua, luz y otros gastos ministeriales se realizó el primer Bazar del año 2010 en casa de la hermana Socorro Cárcamo el día sábado 20, con la colaboración de la mayoría de los hermanos de la congregación, fue de mucha bendición y damos a gracias a Dios por el esfuerzo y sacrificio de todos.

El sábado 27 de febrero tuvimos la primera reunión del año del Ministerio de Mujer a Mujer en la casa de la Colonia Centroamérica, fue una bendición la presencia de señoras invitadas y la oportunidad de compartir a Cristo con ellas.

PETICIONES DE ORACION MINISTERIALES Y FAMILIARES.

•Dar gracias a Dios por la Visión y Misión de las Iglesias de Vida Nueva y Metro América 020.
•Dar gracias a Dios por la congregación de Vida Nueva Managua, por su crecimiento espiritual y numérico.
•Orar por todos los Ministerios de la congregación para que Dios siga obrando en cada uno de los hermanos (Ministerio de Evangelismo, Seguimiento y Visitación, Discipulado, Escuela Dominical, Jóvenes, Mujer a Mujer, CDV y otros).
•Orar por la próxima Campaña Evangelística y EBDV durante Semana Santa, por la provisión y protección para todos los hermanos y hermanas que van a venir de los Estados Unidos y de El Salvador así como también por los hermanos de Managua.
•Orar para que Dios prepare los corazones de todas las personas que van a escuchar el Evangelio y reciban al Señor Jesús como su Salvador aquí en Nicaragua.
•Orar por un local adecuado para reunirnos como Iglesia en la zona de Bello Horizonte, Villa Progreso o sus alrededores.
•Orar por protección, salud, y provisión para la familia.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

January 2010 was a very significant month for VIDA NUEVA MANAGUA, as we joyfully celebrated our Fourth Anniversary as a church in Nicaragua. We thank the Lord for the opportunity He has given us to serve Him by expanding His Kingdom and transforming lives.

During January, a group of young ladies from our congregation received the second half of the study, “How is your Heart,” taught by our sister Eyrela Martinez. The girls had a wonderful time learning from God’s Word, playing games, doing crafts, sharing refreshments, fellowship, and prayer. Some of the girls shared that God had spoken to them and that they were challenged to really live transformed lives that will please Him.

Also during January, we had the joy of celebrating our first Sunday School Graduation. Several children received diplomas certifying their successful completion of their level. In total 8 children graduated; 3 from nursery, 3 from pre-school and 2 from elementary school. We are so thankful to God for their parents and our teachers who have been a very important part of their spiritual development.

We celebrated our 4th anniversary from Sunday January 24th to Wednesday January 27th. Our invited guest speaker was Pastor Julio Contreras from Vida Nueva San Salvador who led us in the preaching of God’s Word. Our anniversary conference theme was “A Challenge for Those Who Want to Mature.” It was such a blessing to see our congregation attend day after day to hear God’s Word. On the last day of the conference some of the children in our congregation came forward and we all sang Happy Birthday to our church. We also had some cake, soda and a wonderful time of fellowship.

February has been a month of trials for our congregation. At the beginning of the month a structural evaluation was done on the building we were renting. Once the evaluation was completed we received the bad news from the engineer that we needed to permanently vacate the building due to extremely high structural risk. The building was structurally dangerous to all those who were congregating there. As a result we were forced to postpone several planned activities.

As a result we have moved to a new location. Sunday February 14th we began meeting at the Hotel Campestre Plaza Azul at 10:00AM for our Sunday morning worship service and Sunday school classes for our children. We are seeking the Lord for direction as we look for a more permanent meeting place for our church. Moving has made it difficult for some in our congregation to be consistent in their attendance.

Another challenge has been covering the utility bills and other ministry costs. In order to raise funds to help cover these costs we held our first Bazaar in 2010 at Socorro Carcamo’s house on Saturday February 20th. We are so thankful that the majority of the congregation participated. The activity was a tremendous blessing and we thank the Lord for the effort and sacrifice each one made to make this activity a success.

On Saturday February 27th we held our first Woman to Woman ministry meeting in the house in Colonia Centroamerica. What a blessing it was to have invited ladies and the opportunity to share Christ with them.

PRAYER REQUESTS

•We thank the Lord for the Vision and Mission He has given the churches of Metro America 0 20.
•We thank the Lord for the congregation He has given us; specifically we are thankful for their spiritual and numerical growth.
•Please pray for the ministries of our congregation, that the Lord will continue working in the lives of every member (Evangelism, Follow-up, Visitation, Discipleship, Sunday School, Youth, Woman to Woman, Life Circles, etc)
•Please pray for the upcoming Evangelistic campaign and Vacation Bible School planned for Holy Week, March 27-April 3. Please pray that the Lord will provide for and protect all those coming from the United States and El Salvador as well as from Nicaragua for this activity.
•Please pray that God will prepare the hearts of those who will hear the gospel and will receive Christ as Lord and Savior in Nicaragua.
•Please pray that we will find a new place to meet in or near the Bello Horizonte or Villa Progreso neighborhoods.
•Please pray for God’s protection, health and provision for our family.
