Vida Nueva Mexico City

Iglesia Bautista Vida Nueva Mexico City is the sixth and most recently established church in downtown Mexico City. Its birth takes place in the midst of very unusual circumstances. It is the first time that Vida Nueva San Salvador, together with one of the already established missions (Vida Nueva Guatemala), would join forces to continue to expand God’s Kingdom. After much prayer, the Mexico City pastoral team was established, Mario del Valle (from Vida Nueva San Salvador) and Javier Giron (from Vida Nueva Guatemala). The plan was to plant the church in June of 2020, but that quickly became impossible due to the eminent threat that the Covid-19 Pandemic brought to the world. This crisis, which as been the greatest of our time and which has affected the whole world, was the reason why this plan had to be postponed. But not to worry, God was a work!

Despite the pandemic, during 2020, Mario and Javier were able to raise up a small group of several families in Mexico City who had connected with Vida Nueva digitally through the transmission of their services. Gradually the group was strengthened and grew from two families to 7 families by February 2021. (14 people). It came to the point where, even though we were in a pandemic, as Steve Kern put it, “We cannot stop expanding God’s Kingdom.” The first weeklong evangelistic outreach was organized for the first week of March. Several North Americans, Salvadorians, and Mexicans teamed up, and even though there were obstacles, Vida Nueva Mexico City was born on March 7, 2021

Mexico City is one of the most important metropolises in Latin America. It has a population ranging from 22 to 24 million people. The presence of the gospel has increased in recent years. We believe this is God's time for the founding of Vida Nueva Mexico City, which, God willing, will impact the entire nation (129 million people).

The vision of Vida Nueva Mexico City is "to be a strong biblical church that influences Mexican society to know God, developing and empowering leaders who glorify God with their way of life." We mean the biblical "strong" church, a church that is focused on the preaching of the word, the preaching of the gospel, the development of disciples and communities that allow for the development of them.
