Marco Umaña

Miralvalle Associate & college Pastor and Director of Graphics Department

Marco was born on February 12, 1990 in San Salvador in a Christian home and grew up literally in his parent’s Christian Camps ministry. His parents were a great influence on him and were a big part of the reason why he would go into full-time ministry when he was older. He received Christ at the age of 6 through a chat he had with his mom, but it wasn’t until he was 19 years old that he really had a personal encounter with God and from that point on decided to live a life that would please Him. At that time, he came to Vida Nueva, to their college student ministry, “Fase 7”. He was so impacted by the ministry this group did to reach university students.

Marco married Jackie on December 20, 2014, and since that day his desire to serve God full time has only grown. In 2016 Marco came on staff with Vida Nueva as a Graphic Designer and Audiovisual Producer, using all his creative talents and university degree training.

Marco has worked with University age youth since 2014, and in 2016 became the Miralvalle College Age Youth Pastor. Soon thereafter he also took on the role of the Miralvalle Associate Campus Pastor position.
