Vida Nueva El Coyolito

El Coyolito is a rural town of about 30,000 people in the Northern Chalatenango Department of El Salvador about 50 miles north of the capital City of San Salvador. Most residents of El Coyolito are dedicated to micro businesses, agriculture, education, or domestic services. Life is very simple, family and relationships are important, families are large, poverty is common and education hard to come by. Prior to the year 2000, there was no sound evangelical presence in this town. Pastor Manuel Orellana was called by God to plant his first church in this town. Vida Nueva El Coyolito was established on September 17, 2000. Since then, they have worked hard to reach people for Christ, purchased property, built a building, developed leaders, and become a thriving presence for God’s Kingdom in their community. The church now numbers about 250 adults and has thriving ministries in Evangelism, Discipleship, Children and Youth, Men, Women, and Couples, Life Groups, and Counseling. The church meets together on Sundays at 8 AM, and on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6 PM. Life Groups meet on Saturdays at 6 PM. Founding Pastor Manuel Orellana does his very best to be present for every service and major activity and also has an assistant pastor to help him care for this congregation. The assistant pastor to Vida Nueva El Coyolito is Luis Aguilar.
