Vida Nueva Nueva Concepcion

Pastor Manuel Orellana, seeing the great need for Christ in the Department of Chalatenango, El Salvador, choose another town further north of the three previous church plants to plant his fourth mission church in Nueva Conception under support structure of Good News in Action. This fourth church was founded on February 16, 2010. Like his former churches, evangelism was the foundation upon which it was started and built up. Soon they were able to purchase land and with help from the states, were able to build a building just perfect for their needs.

The town of Nueva Concepcion has a population of about 30,000 people. It is a quaint town with a rich Mayan history, built on both flat land and hills, filled with cobbled streets and booming with micro businesses and agriculture. Two thirds of its land is rural, one third has been urbanized. The center of the city is marked by a beautiful park surrounded by houses with large front porches where townspeople enjoy gathering and spending time together. Four main rivers, which supply both economic as well as recreational activity travel through or around Nueva Conception. Vida Nueva Nueva Concepcion has a membership of about 60 adults and meets every Sunday at 3 PM and Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM. Pastor Manuel actively pastors this church with the help of campus pastor Luis Aguilar.
